|Family Fun@Your Library: A Little Princess|
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The triumph of a young girl who loses everything but her kindness and imagination is celebrated in ArtsPower National Touring Theatre's production of A Little Princess, based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic novel. Sara Crewe has spent her entire childhood in India with her father, living a life of privilege. With the coming of World War I, Sara's father - a captain in the British Army - is called to active duty; he decides that his only child will be safest in London. This original musical declares that no hardship is unbearable for those who are truly loved. A limited number of free tickets will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
