If you do not have a Skokie Public Library card or another card with current borrowing privileges, please call the Contact Number listed below and a member of our staff will be happy to sign you up.

Registration for Library programs requires a current library card from Skokie Public Library or a registered card from your "home" library. After you enter your card number and your last name to "log in" to the online calendar, your full name, phone number, and email address will automatically appear in the sign-up form as it currently appears in your Library account. You will be able to verify the information without having to type it every time you sign up for a program. This will improve accuracy and speed the registration process. If you call to register for a program, please have your Library card number ready for a staff member to enter for you.

Description:
 Pianist Derek Chung is in seventh grade at Woodlawn Middle School, Long Grove. He recently performed in the honor recital at International Institute for Young Musicians and won first place and best performance of romantic music in the 2012 Los Angeles Young Musician International Competition. Derek studies piano with Sueanne Metz and plays viola in his school orchestra. His other interests include reading, basketball, soccer, and video games.

Trio Con Fuoco is made up of cellist Krystian Chiu, violinist Hannah White, and pianist Ryan Jannak-Huang. They play together as one component of the Music Institute of Chicago’s Academy Program for gifted precollege musicians. They have performed at Nichols Hall and Gordon Bennett Hall Ravinia. Krystian is a freshman at William Fremd High School in Palatine and studies cello with Hans Jorgen Jensen. Hannah is homeschooled and studies violin with Hye-Sun Lee. Ryan is a freshman at Palatine High School and studies piano with Brenda Huang.
