Registration for Library programs requires a current library card from Skokie Public Library or a registered card from your "home" library. After you enter your card number and your last name to "log in" to the online calendar, your full name, phone number, and email address will automatically appear in the sign-up form as it currently appears in your Library account. You will be able to verify the information without having to type it every time you sign up for a program. This will improve accuracy and speed the registration process. If you call to register for a program, please have your Library card number ready for a staff member to enter for you.

Description:
 Based on a true story about the rescue of six Americans who were hiding out at the Canadian Ambassador’s home during the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis. Ben Affleck directed this movie and stars as CIA specialist Tony Mendez. He’s the guy with the “best bad idea” for an escape plan. His cover is that he’s a Canadian film producer shooting a Hollywood sci-fi movie in Iran. Mendez must convince the Iranians that everything is legitimate, and then fly out with the six Americans posing as his film crew. Argo was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screen, and already won the Golden Globe for Best Drama.
