 In partnership with Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership’s One Book, One Community program, we will be discussing Jami Attenberg’s acclaimed novel, The Middlesteins. The Middlesteins tells the story of a Jewish family in the northern Chicago suburbs and how the overeating and extreme weight of the matriarch affects the whole family. The discussion of this wonderful book will start at 7 PM and then, at 8 PM, the author will join the discussion via Skype.
