Registration for Library programs requires a current library card from Skokie Public Library or a registered card from your "home" library. After you enter your card number and your last name to "log in" to the online calendar, your full name, phone number, and email address will automatically appear in the sign-up form as it currently appears in your Library account. You will be able to verify the information without having to type it every time you sign up for a program. This will improve accuracy and speed the registration process. If you call to register for a program, please have your Library card number ready for a staff member to enter for you.

Description:
 In honor of Valentine's Day, pastry chef Jack Alix of Sugar Buzz Patisserie and guests will talk about tasty desserts from or inspired by the Philippines and will bring samples to share. Historically, the Filipino sweet tooth became well developed during the Spanish occupation, but the Spanish sweets were adapted for local ingredients. Space is limited and advance registration is a must!
